Nahanton Park consists of 57 acres of forests, meadows, and gardens along the Charles River. The staff is very helpful and the water is good for kayaking anytime they are open. The views are lovely and passing some other boaters is enjoyable. Parking across the bridge is a pain but I understand why it is necessary.
