Wow! The anchor is the very long term exhibit of Sol Lewit, of course, but the ancillary exhibits [to say nothing of the maze of the exhibit spaces within the old factory building complex] make for a menu of new art experiences. Some fascinate. Others...More

I generally dislike modern art. This museum, however, is so different than the standard museum that I absolutely loved it. Each space is an experience. Some exhibits were confounding, some beautiful and some just plain strange. I brought my son who is in art college...More

Eclectic mix of art exhibits in a restored former factory! I enjoyed getting lost in the galleries and discovering new artists.

This is a fascinating museum situated in several old industrial buildings. Most unusual and thought provoking. The main display by Sol Le Witt was interesting, as is his history and the concept to finished product video. There were other buildings with temporary displays. One included...More

Interesting ! Spent almost 4 hours here. Took a tour with a very knowledgable tour guide from the museum. My daughter who's 10 loved the activities in the KIDSPACE. My hubby who's a art/museum lover found it super nice. Loved it :)

Excellent art museum with an extensive collection of contemporary artists from all over! A fun children's section, great gift shop and cafe too. This museum is a true treasure to the growing art scene in the Berkshires.

Mass MOCA is an unusual avant garde museum which shows creativity in the arts--it is immense and still developing and is capable of displaying unusual shows which could not occur in most museums--there is a spirit here which is intoxicating--a must experience

If you are ever in western Massachusetts, be sure to take the drive up to North Adams to check out MASS MoCA! Incredible setting, in old factory complex. The buildings are works of art in themselves.
