Spooky local museum

One of my favorite small museums on the Cape. They have some period rooms and whaling artifacts and they also offer programs for kids.

Museum is small but nice. The Highland House Museum is the old Highland House, a hotel built on the Highlands in 1907. It is an example of a turn-of-the-century summer resort hotel.Located near the Highland Lighthouse which is a must to see. A visit to the museum provides fascinating insight into the lives of the people of Truro dating back... More

$6 per adult to climb up the lighthouse. Not for the weak & claustrophobic. Just cool to be in one for a change, tour guide was informative & interesting. Worth the visit, took lots of good pics.

Small fee to enter, but you could spend hours here devouring all the history. This place is packed with artifacts and we'll written descriptions. The rooms upstairs look awesome. Free parking. Show paid receipt same day at highland lighthouse tour to walk up inside for $1 off each.

I like to read what surrounds the exhibits and found the tales of those who stayed here as a hotel fascinating. There was an exhibit around... More

This old hotel has many historical things to see on the main love. You can also go upstairs where each room has different aspects to the area.
