At this time of the year it is a great place to walk in the afternoon. It feels wild. It sounds wild. There are very few people on the beach.

This is a nice beach , great for long walks, watch the seals maybe see a whale or two. We have been coming here for 14 years now and never been disappointed in the least

Off season in Oct is great. Pristine beach for endless walks. Great for sunrise, sunset and evening walks.

This beach is usually too cold too swim in comfortably. In August I eventually got used to it and found a nice sandbar where people were surfing and body boarding. It’s great for walking and watching seals. But great white sharks patrol these waters regularly...More

One of the Cape's most beautiful beaches. Wide, plenty of room to spread out, gaze at infinity or just relax. Sea life abounds, including sharks. Huge parking lot.

The walk down to the beach (plus the rest rooms) are long gone from the recent bad storms but they have put up temporary facilities until something new is built. We visited on a rather dreary day but the atmosphere is always wonderful no matter...More

We loved watching the surfers, although after shark attacks I would not be in the water. The beach is beautiful, with great waves and very windy. A must see.

Despite the incredible surf, the undertow, the seals and possibility of sharks we spent a lot of time at the beach. Just running around at the waters edge and walking up and down the beach, it was so beautiful. Having grown up at the ocean...More

The water was so cold and refreshing. The seals at sunrise and sunset were a cool site to see. Just beware of the sharks.

We had went during the week, and did not have to pay to park. What I did notice is that on the weekend someone was at the gate and parking was $20.00. Be careful of beaches in the cape cod area, as towns have their own... More

I don't know the temp but I find all the Cape Cod waters pretty cold. The Ocean side (East) tends to be colder than the bay side. The beaches are fabulous for sitting, watching the waves and the seals but I don't tend to... More
