This site is somewhat new to the long list tourist stops offered in Plymouth. It is an attempt to embellish the basic story of the Pilgrim colony in Plymouth by focusing on the pre-Plymouth native groups. Put together with much imagination and "scene setting" it seems to fall short of both cultural and historic detail and accuracy.

We visited the homesite as part of a special free entry day to the plantation. It was very crowded, but we still learned a lot. We visited the Hobbamock's Homesite which is part of the Plimoth Plantation. This was my favorite part of the Plantation. The people there are real Native Americans and they talk to you and will answer your questions. We found it very interesting as compared to the Pilgrim settlement in the Plantation where the people are actors and stay in character... More
