I called and spoke with Jean who old me to come and she would give me a private tour. I really wanted to visit there as it was just given a $2.6 million grant and the GSMD (Mayflower) is in the process of purchasing it...More

Definitely worth a visit, even if you don’t go inside. A very cool part of American history and a short walk from Plymouth Rock. Don’t skip Burial Hill behind the Church!

This is not the original church but just to be on that site is very moving... and behind it is Burial Hill with a lot of either old graves or signs about famous Pilgrims.

The First Parish Church was originally established by the Pilgrims in 1620 and expanded since then. It is just a couple of blocks from the waterfront in Plymouth center. There is parking just around the corner.

It's a bit of a hike up a hill, but that's Plymouth. Lovely and historical. Turn around before you go in and look at that view.

You can stop by for a quick wander around the church. A lovely building, some historical information, and the folks there are really nice. Be aware, it is warm inside when it is hot outside.

This is a really cool looking church a short drive away from Plymouth Rock. It was closed by the time we got there, but it was neat to see the outside and read the informative signs.

Plymouth is the most quaint, shop-filled, bed and breakfast type New England town you can find. The history is amazing. Sad, however, that most people in Massachusetts I met had very little respect for America, our history, basic manners, or religion thanks to the influence...More

This is the oldest continuous church in New England, with this location holding services all the way back to the founding of Plymouth in 1620. The church itself is a great example of architecture from the late 1800s. If you can't get inside to attend...More
