There is a second floor deck with commanding views of the area, from Provincetown and Cape Cod Bay to the oceanside beaches. But the visitor center is low on things to see. Rangers seemed helpful, and there was a video about whaling and the lifesaving...More

We stopped by this visitor's center to get our Passport Stamp and to see some of the Cape Cod videos the park offers (the AV equipment was down at the Salt Pond V.C.). There is a great observation deck and there are amazing views from...More

This small visitor center is located atop a large sand dune and is perfectly positioned to give a panoramic view. Short informative films run throughout the day. There is a small gift shop/ bookstore. For those seeking a break from the downtown crowds, this is...More

This is the best place to start your outer cape experience. You will be exposed to nature, whales and understanding the history of the area.

A small but well thought out overview of the national seashore flora and fauna. Short films are constantly running in their theater. Kids will like the outdoor upper deck with great views.

Even though it is a short drive to the visitor center (on the outskirts of Provincetown), it's really not worth it unless you would like to enjoy the panoramic view of the dunes and ocean. The visitor center is pretty small, but is air conditioned....More

I patrolled these lands in the Summer of 1964 as a Park Ranger. It was a heavenly assignment and I was but 21 years old

This is good spot to stop if you have never been to P-Town. While much can be learned online nowadays. . .always best to also get information personally from people who truly know the area.
