A quick stop but very very interesting, tour guides were volunteers who were very knowledgeable about the history and enjoyed telling about it, really makes you appreciate how hard life was then (and how relatively it is easy now!), definitely worth visiting.

The interpretive guides were very informative and took their time. Their anecdotal comments filled in the gaps of the history books. If you happen to be the last ones of the day they take extra time with you. Well recommended !

We loved the tour. Both guides did an outstanding job of explaining and giving information about the house, families who lived there ,and the time period. At $4 for adults the tour was worth the price.

Great little tour of this historic house. The guides presented lots of information as well as the background to many time worn expressions....don't let the bed bugs bite!

A small house with a big history. The docents were knowledgable and welcoming. Even the setting on the pond, is inviting and tranquil.
