Awesome family day destination

The boardwalk is a great place to spend a summer day. Walk, jump off the bridge, explore the marshes, float with the tides, people watch, kayak, paddle board.....much more.

This boardwalk is a great way to reach see the tidal streams and wild life that inhabits the area. It a very pleasant walk all year across the marsh to the beach area. Parking might be limited as well. From the ocean side, it's a short walk to the beach as well.

Parking on both ends of the boardwalk. All boards are carved with the names of people who donated money to make building and maintaining this boardwalk possible.

The Sandwich boardwalk is one of my favorite places to spend some time when I'm on Cape Cod. It's a lovely walk in every season, and especially fun on a warm summer day.

If you are a visitor to Cape Cod or a resident, the Sandwich Boardwalk is one of those "must visit" places and one you will like to visit again and again when you are in the area. Several benches are available for views of the salt marsh and osprey nest. Often in the summer a local vendor is there renting... More

It was very very cold when we were here but the boardwalk is absolutely beautiful and would be a really great walk in the spring or summer months. If you go during the winter you need to dress very warm it is very windy but the scenery is well worth it

The Sandwich boardwalk is always a great place to stroll, breath the salt air and experience the beauty of the saltmarsh. Vintage Cape!

We go often. We enjoy the walk across the boardwalk to the beach. Sometimes we have high tide which is sweet. The marshland fills in which creates a whole new experience. Then the low tide creates another experience. Well worth a visit.

The iconic Sandwich Boardwalk, constructed in 1875, is about 1/4 mile long, & offers views of dunes & salt marshes. It's one of National Geographic's Top 10 Boardwalks in America. In Summer crowds gather @ the center during high tide & jump into Mill Creek. Hurricane Bob destroyed the Boardwalk in 1991. It was rebuilt with support from locals, whose... More

This was a nice stop . We parked and walked the boardwalk out to the water. it was windy and chilly but It was nice to see the views and see the animals that were left around out in about.
