This place also charges $10pp - and that wasn’t my only or even my biggest issue with this place. My review of Westport Rivers Winery (Westport MA) includes my rant on why $10pp is too much to charge for a tasting fee - but rather than repeat all of that here (because you can look it up if you’re interested),... This cute little vineyard sits on a large stretch of land in the owner's backyard. The tasting offers a large variety to sample and the samples are small enough to do so. Take notes, because you sample so many, it becomes difficult to remember your opinions of each wine after a while. The host is very informative. He provides a... More

Stumbled across this place while web surfing/ researching wines made in MA. What a find! Turned out to be a bit more than an hour from where I live and never even knew about it. Small vineyard, offering wine tastings for maybe 15 wines (small tastings!), under the supervision of the winemaker (Bob), who was quite knowledgeable and personable for... More

Very cute, small family owned vineyard. It's literally at someone's house. Everyone there is super friendly. You get to taste at lease 14 different wines. A fun day trip.

Looks like someone's home at first but a small sign directs visitors around back where your greater to a wine lovers dream backyard. Awesome wine tasting and knowledgeable people. Not for the stuck up crowd.

We love small local wineries and are sad to say we did not like the wines here at all. The white wines did not have much flavor. Liked the Riesling but it was nothing special, especially for the price. The Reds were not good at all. Enjoyed Bob and views of the vineyards. Left here without buying a bottle which... More

This was the first time visiting a vineyard for wine tasting. My daughter and I did so on a Friday afternoon. When we arrived two other women were getting informed of the bottling procedure in the basement area of the home. We joined them and introduced ourselves to each other. Bob was our host and proceeded to take all of... More

This small vineyard in SE Mass has a nice selection of wines, and our host for the tasting, Bob, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The location is interesting - the vineyard is located behind a house in a residential neighborhood. If you're touring vineyards and wineries in the area it's worth a look.

Lovely and picturesque setting. This is in a residential neighborhood that once was a dairy farm years ago (Gulf Hill Dairy?), which is a little confusing upon approaching. The tasting area is outside and in the rear of a raised ranch house (the tour guide called it a chalet ... it's a raised ranch). The day that I went was... More
