We loved this museum. Even if you don't have an attraction to Norman Rockwell's work, you will learn a lot about America during his years of producing "Life" in America! It's a great place for kids to learn stuff that is not in the "History" books. We could have spent more than just a couple of hours there. The grounds... More

A very nice Museum to view an icon of the art world. Besides his paintings, also had an exhibition from Hanna Barbera which brought great memories.... We participated with the docent tour. She did a nice job equating Rockwell, the community and people and his art work. Suggest taking hour and a half for your visit. Do to the time... More

This place is amazing. It has so much more than the old one. There is so much of his original work that it is overwhelming. His studio is wonderfully preserved and like a step back in time. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and intertaining.

The Norman Rockwell Museum is Americana at its best and a museum experience for the whole family! Go back if you haven't been for a while! I went as a child when it was a little museum on the Main Street of this gorgeous little town. Back then Norman Rockwell was still a very public figure. The new museum is... More

It really is a must go to when in the Berkshires. The price for admission is fair. It has a good representation of Norman Rockwell's art & story. The lecturer, Judy is terrific so don't miss her.

This is a great place to visit year round. We were very impressed with the Hanna-Barbera exhibit. Of course we are also very partial to all of the Rockwell works. The staff is very knowledgeable regarding the Rockwell collections. As such, I suggest a visit during one of the tours to learn more about Rockwell and his works.

I am not necessarily an art afficiando, but I have enjoyed some of Rockwell's covers as I think most people have. What was here was a vast collection of his paintings that were used as covers, as well as some that never made it to the cover of a magazine. There are free talks during the day; downstairs is a... We went in 2012. The paintings that you're familiar with, from The Saturday Evening Post, are all there in front of you. There are also pieces of art that were done later in his life. The entire museum is full of breathtaking artwork. There is also a gift shop you cannot miss! Part of the tour is to Rockwell's studio,... More
