What a gem! Norman Rockwell was a wonderful American illustrator. I learned so much about his life and art from this museum. Besides the museum, they bright his studio, from his home in Stockbridge, to the museum grounds and you can visit it as well.

We enjoyed this museum very much. Rockwell was a creative artist who, in the film stated, that his object was to tell a story. How he produced his work weekly is impressive. I think Rockwell is a cultural historian, expressing ideas of several decades.

If you like Rockwell paintings, this is a must see. Very well done and it isn't an all day ordeal. 2 hours max. His work is second to none for his time period.

Before you go, do some research on what traveling exhibit is there. I have been three times and although just looking at Rockwell's artwork is enough, they once had a few rooms devoted to Hanna Barbera and animation that was pretty interesting in its own...More
