Enjoyable activity

A very nice design and not too big so don't need a lot of time to see. A variety of flowers, plants, trees with a lovely vegetable garden area.

The Berkshire Botanical Gardens are beautiful, having a variety of different types of plants on display, always something different in bloom at different times of the year, based on our multiple visits to the gardens. The vegetable gardens are very interesting with examples of a variety of types of vegetables. This is a great place to visit in the Berkshires... More

We should have been here early last month. I'm sure it must have been beautiful. Very nice paths and planting beds but the plants were down.

Compared to some of the very large botanical gardens as in St. Louis or Victoria, Canada, Berkshire Botanical Garden is small in size. The scope of plantings, the creativity in presentation, and the excellent care taken of this treasure makes this a must stop for all who love God's creation and beauty.

We visited the gardens during their annual harvest festival so it was crowded with booths, etc for fundraising, There were still some lovely plants in bloom and it was so pleasant to walk among the various garden settings during the afternoon. It is a lovely place.

Visit on a Tuesday - 2 for 1!! Beautiful gardens and friendly staff. We visited in the fall and there was still a lot to see. We can't wait to visit again during another season.

Took over an hour to see the many gardens. Nicely kept up, many still-flowering plants. Well identified specimens.

Stopped off here en route to Sturbridge as we remembered visiting years ago on a vacation from Scotland. It was as we remembered it - fairly compact but packing a real punch with some wonderful plantings and everything from vegetable gardens and children's gardens to herbaceous borders and magnificent mature trees. Staff are so enthusiastic and welcoming and there are... More

The garden has an outstanding representation of what is grown in a few hundred mile radius...very enjoyable for us to see creative displays of perenials that are native to our area...easy walking and wonderful 2 hour sojourn...the organizers have made this garden a delight from every perspective...

My first visit was 5-7 years ago in the summer. The gardens were stunning. At that time there were small sheds decorated as garden retreats which were interesting and beautiful. If the sheds are not an annual addition to the grounds, they should be. Yesterday, even with many of the plants past their prime, the experience was delightful. The woman... More
