What a nice little zoo. My 11 year old and I spent a couple of hours here today. They have bears, cougar and leopard among other great animals. The zoo is under renovation, but still nice and fun to go through. We had a great time.

Princess day, a day filled of little girls running around in their favorite Disney Dress, even some of the grown ups participated. The Princesses were Fabulous even though the Little Mermaid had an eerie resemblance to Miley Cyrus. I think there were a lot of happy and excited Little Toddlers. As for the Zoo itself it was a nice small... More

I took my grandson there today. It was nice because of the size. Some attractions were hard for a 5 year old to see (reptile area) so I had to hold him up to the window but other than that he had lots of fun. Playground area was a big hit for him. A+ on bathroom facilities for being clean... More

My wife and I bought her mother and sister a pass for the year so they could take our neice and nephew. Was a pretty fun place, had a playground and petting area for the kids. I liked the porcupine that was holding onto it's fencing and dancing.

The stone zoo is a small zoo, but they are really trying to update it, we buy a pass for the year which is really the way to go, you get 2 adults and up to 4 kids in, we go at least once a week to let the kids just run , my grandson knows every animal and facts... More

The stone zoo is excellent for our area. Great selection of animals and a must visit for kids in the area. It's not an out of this world zoo but its definitely worth the bang for the buck and the close proximity. Would make this a regular day trip for kids to get out explore, and stretch their legs.

We chose this place as a night time attraction being on vacation in the Boston area about a week ago. We were very disappointed in this establishment. As "Zoo lights" starts at 5pm (Already dark in Stoneham at this time in December), none of the animal cages have lights in them, besides the bird visitations. So we basically saw basic... More

Had an amazing experience here at this zoo! My husband and I love it and are planning to come back! It is great for couples and families. Personnels and assistants are very friendly and they will answer any question you have about the animals and love that all the animals have names and are very well cared! I remember "Hollie"... Pros: it's small! The exhibits are pretty small so you have a good chance of seeing the animals up close...or pretty close. The jaguar is unbelievably beautiful and so close to the viewing area! The otters were fantastic, as were the monkeys... My kids could walk around without getting completely exhausted, they enjoyed the small rides and playground. (train $3... More

Made my first visit here and I feel a bit restricted by the overall ratings. I haven't been to a lot of zoos and my "average" rating may change if I've been to more. I don't feel like Stone Zoo is Very good or Excellent, but I don't I feel an Average rating does it justice. It represents my best... More
