Visit for a day, spend a week camping. This is a great park. Wells state park is not far from the Mass Pike, but you would never know that. A great get-away, place to stop along the way or fun for a day

There are no facilities during the winter. It is excellent for snow shoeing and xcountry skiing. The parking lot is plowed during the winter. It is a popular ice fishing destination. There may be up to six boats in the summer. In the winter there may be 20 vehicles parked at the boat ramp and no toilet.

A very clean well kept park. Quiet and relaxing. Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a cool swim in lake after very hot day at village. Park rangers very polite and helpful

This park had some lovely attributes. The facilities at the park are older, but the yurt seemed new. It was very nice, with beds, a table, electricity, a light, and overhead fan. The bathhouse was fine, not great but fine. One thing that was noticeable were the huge amounts of gypsy moths... They were everywhere - I've never seen anything... More

Small campground on peaceful lake. Some sites are lakeside. Sites range from small to very large, sunny to shady. Lots of options.

We had site 16; right on the water, super clean, huge with 2 picnic tables and fire pit, on a cul-de-sac. Staff were helpful and friendly (except for one lady, but oh well). Bathroom with shower was not sparkling, but it's a campground. They were adequate. Small beach was clean and safe. We had a blast.

We left the hub-bib of the Cape and were very happy to find this quiet, tree filled campground. Nice hikes which are fun, but not too strenuous. Some of the sites up on the ridge would be impossible for a big rig, but perfect for our 23 foot van. Note: Some sites are not level. choose wisely.

We have stopped to camp overnight many times in Sept. It is a favourite spot because of its natural beauty and quiet. The pond is lovely and the camping sites are very natural. Peace and quiet are the specialities. The services could stand some upgrades but if you like your camping rustic this is a great choice.

Thank Irene R
