I went in the early morning and parked the car at Head of the Meadows. I did not need a sticker and could bring the dog as it was before 9am. I ran the 2 mile trail with dog and saw no one else. The...More

My husband and I were on the Cape for a long weekend and decided to check various Cape Cod National Seashore beaches. This beach is almost all roped off to protect nesting piping plovers. The adjacent town beach was wide open, however. I suppose you...More

Dissapointed to find the entire 2 miles of this trail is closed until the spring of 2019, it's being repaired. Looking forward to riding the new trail next year!

Overgrown, no views of beach. Needs to be repaved and consequently was very uncomfortable to ride. Skip this short bike trail and head to the one at Race Point in Province Town which was incredible..

We really enjoyed biking through here, there are lots of birds to be seen, but we probably should have just walked it, as the trail is quite bumpy (although the fact that it was paved at all is appreciated).

Bike path needs to be updated, it's very bumpy, there is a lot of insects flying around in the middle of summer so wear lots of repellent.

We've been walking the tarred bike path for over 12 years and it has not been kept up. Furthermore, as of 2 years ago, the tics and now deer flies have taken over the trail. Hard to walk it but if on a bike, you...More

It is in dire need of resurfacing. It is very bumpy and has been taken over by the adjacent meadow in some spots. NPS has removed less dangerous roadways from its unigrid maps in places like Death Valley. This one should be removed from its...More

The bike path at Head of the Meadow is wonderful to ride, especially in the mornings. However it has developed many cracks and bumps from tree roots over the years and needs to be resurfaced. I hear that this may happen next year!

We stopped later in the afternoon and it was pretty much deserted. Parked right at the beach and walked over. Very wide beach and there was water coming in with the tide, creating an inner and outer beach. Waded across the incoming water to the...More
