The town of Walpole is fortunate to have such a great resource as Bird Park. It has a little bit of everything.... walking trails, open space for a game of Frisbee, play area for the kids... they even have tennis and basketball courts. The Friends...More

We'll maintained, plenty of open space with a balance of mixed woods. Activities all summer long. Take a leasurly stroll, sit on any of the many benches throughout the park. Dog friendly if you obey the rules. Stop by and relax, jog, ride a bicycle...More

Ducks, geese, hawks and other birds will get your attention. The many trails will provide you with exercise and the ever changings of the seasons gives one a different vista each visit.

The park is maintained by the Trustees of Reservations. There are several ponds and many attractive trees. Paths are well maintained and the walking is easy. Restrooms are available. Worth a detour, but not a journey.
