Excellent experience for all ages. Lovely gardens and grounds. Christmas holidays are lots of fun with wagonrides throughout the grounds, themed Christmas trees on display to be won through raffle tickets, fabulous winter train display.

This is a great place for weekend stroll. The gardens are filled with very well-maintained plants and flowers. Truly a gem. Best of all, not very populated with people. So it's very quiet and peaceful if you want the ultimate calmness and destress yourself with...More

Wonderful site for a good walk. Lots of flowers and bushes to check out, the majority of which are labeled for identification. While the maintenance is satisfactory, it was clear that the society could use more donations and addition staff.

We went to these gardens on Thursday. What a disaster. I love to garden. I would never attend to my gardens like they attend to these! The spent flowers are trimmed like they must have whacked them all in one swoop, then left the spent...More

Great little park for walking and enjoying nature! They play soccer games there in the middle. Would be a great affordable place for a wedding.

This botanical garden is in need of much attention and money. Some of the gardens are in good shape and well designed such as the wonderful children's garden designed by Julie Messervy with a new entrance by John Forti, The Garden to Table Vegetable Garden...More

The Gardens are wonderful but don't miss the paths in the woods along the Charles River. If you are in the woods in mid May thru June 5 ish there are some beautiful Lady Slippers.
