Enjoyed couple of beautiful fall days walking the beach and relaxing with our dog. Lovely beach. Short walk from parking lot but flat and easy.

I never performed the long walk into this area, and got about half way there before calling an audible on going any further. I may have missed a paved road that gets you closer but the walk was nice and very peaceful. If I had...More

Although we are more used to watching sunsets from Menemsha, these views are just as spectacular and you have a greater chance of finding solitude. During the day the Beach is only open to residents of West Tisbury who have a pass. You can also...More

Beautiful white sands, clear blue green water. Distant dunes framed by blue skies. An absolute paradise not commonly found in the North East! Beach wheelchairs provided for handicapped and elderly beach goers in the helpful hands of the youthful attendants.

It's about a 1/4 mile walk on a sandy path through the woods to arrive at water's edge, but it is so worth the view and ambiance. The sheltered Cove keeps waters calm enough for swimming (when the water is arm enough!). This is a...More

Park and walk on a sand trail about 200 yards to the beach. Sand was more fine than on cape cod with few broken shells.

The walk from the car to the beach is quite long on a sandy path. I am not sure of the distance but it took 8-10 minutes walking at an average rate. I did not see any beach wheelchairs available for rental. The car park... More

There are no "free passes" even town residents pay for the passes. Your landlord can get them for you or bring your lease to the pass booth
