Large, expansive beach and parking area
You will find plenty of parking and won’t get turned away at this beautiful beach. There’s a $30 cash fee as you enter the parking lot. The town maintains very clean restrooms and beach house with hot showers. There is also a great snack bar. You’ll find plenty of shells and beautiful sand for building Sandcastles here and sure enough, you’ll find plenty of seagulls too! If you’re eating, make sure one doesn’t swoop down and take the food right out of your hand. Please don’t feed the seagulls or you will be surrounded by them in seconds and ruin a perfectly nice day.

    VISIT SEAGULL BEACH!
This beach is such a find, in my opinion. There was plenty of parking ($20 to park for the day). We've actually been turned away from another beach in the area because they ran out of parking. This one is straight forward, you drive up, pay your $20 and you're good to do. We actually got a spot right at the entrance to the beach. The sandy part of the beach was clean, the water was not cold. I've heard people complain about the amount of seagulls there, but there were only a few. There are areas with a lot of seaweed. But once you get past it to the water, it's fine. I was hoping to find sea glass there, but found none. There are a ton of shells though. It's a great beach, with a variety of ages there. I thought there was a concession stand, but I looked from one end to the other of the beach and did not find one. So bring your drinks and snacks and don't depend on being able to buy snacks there. The restrooms are pretty accessible. I didn't go in, but the outside of them looked clean. Can't speak about the inside.

    Best oceanfront beach experience!
Best beach experience ever. Well-maintained, convenient bathrooms and snacks, protected dunes, and stunningly clean sand/oceanfront... Well worth the cost per vehicle. Bring sandals for walking in the sand- there are a lot of shells.

Unfortunately, I did not like this beach. Now I see why they call it Seagull beach. There were seagulls every inch of that beach, which was very much a nuisance. Plus in the water there were these tiny minnows that were nipping at my legs the whole time, also a nuisance. I really don’t understand how this Beach got so many rave reviews because it certainly was not one I will go back to or recommend.

We were visiting the week before Memorial Day so there was no parking fee. There was a large parking and public restrooms. We just enjoyed a morning stroll along the beach while collecting shells. There were many snail shells on this particular morning, along with some others. The beach and dunes appear to be well kept. Some great photo ops if you like to take scenery. During the season I am certain that the beach is dotted with sun worshipers. We would visit again when in the area.

We chose this beach because it had bathrooms and bath house. The beach was clean and well kept, as were the bathrooms. There is also a snack shack. There is a fee for the beach, but it was well worth it. If you enter after 4 there is no fee. The days we were there were particularly windy, but it may have just been the days we were there.

Great beach. We went exploring here during our week long stay over Thanksgiving, so we had the spot nearly to ourselves. Of course. in late November it was cold and windy, but still enjoyed walking over the rocks and taking in the views.

We visited during the week during Labor Day week and had the full expanse of beach to ourselves for the first hour+ we were there.

I imagine it’s packed in the summer but being post Labor Day made all the difference.

I’m used to mid-Atlantic beaches and found the water to be much clearer and the seagulls much larger than I’m used to. We also found a lot of unique sea shells.

It was a very enjoyable beach visit!

We were in the mood to go to the beach while in the area and happened to stumble across this place, and wow! This unique beach is pretty, clean, and spacious, and is very busy with locals and tourists alike during the warm months. There's plenty of sand for everyone, and I appreciated the clean bathrooms and snack bar. This beach is very aptly named, for it is swarmed with seagulls (they're not dangerous!) hovering over their shells. There's also plenty of parking, although it costs money.

We stopped here for the good reviews excited to see the atlantic ocean. The beach had great parking and bathrooms nearby. Seagulls were constantly hovering looking for handouts. I went in the water even though it was cold and got in to my waist. I’d recommend this beach for a nice beach day enjoying the sand and sun.
