From a pair of Modernist houses nestled against a hillside, you'll admire Mount Greylock rising across the valley. Follow trails past fields and marsh and wander through manicured gardens graced by sculptures.

A beautifully maintained nature preserve with well-marked trails of different types — from rolling grassy green paths in open areas to root-covered ‘foresty’ ones. All with gorgeous backdrop of mountains in the distance. Level of hiking would be appropriate for kids and pets.

One of our friends had read a review about Field Farm and thought it a good plce to visit for a nature walk. Our nature walk was on a path riddled with tree roots around a scummy pond that I guessed was once a farm...More

We stopped at Field Farm to enjoy the hike around the pond and look at the 2 homes that are on the property - 2 very different architectural styles, both very interesting. This is a lovely place to see some sculpture in the garden, see...More

Field Farm is a great place to take in nature. Birds are plentiful and the views are gorgeous. The property also features two examples of mid-century homes, which are sometimes open to the public.

I tried two trails and were all very well kept--the North Trail was muddy when I went, but it rained the day before

If you don't stay at the guest house, just park and walk around the (new) trail through the fields and forests. Very flat hike -- no climbing -- the mountains are there, but to be seen not climbed! Some unusual outdoor artwork near the guest...More

Popped in during a quick weekend trip to the Berkshires. Just a pretty stroll through nature. Had fun trying to spot the frogs in the pond (mostly heard them jumping and saw the ripples, but caught a glimpse or two) and just enjoyed the lush...More
