Beautiful monument. Multiple stone posts with carved touching letters from soldiers written to friends and family back home. The letters provide insight into their thoughts and experiences during the war. Sadly, the letters were followed by the dates of service during the war and dates...More

This is indeed a beautiful memorial to those who were part of the Vietnam War. Peaceful yet with the actual words from letters of the soldiers...gives us all a powerful experience of what these (mostly) young people had as their reality in Vietnam. Such a...More

My husband was part of the planning of the MA Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Green Hill Park. He and his comrades are very proud of the Memorial and what it means to many families of fallen veterans. It is a beautiful memorial.

I had just read THE THINGS THEY CARRIED, by Tim O'Brien who served in Vietnam. I felt drawn to this memorial because we too often neglect visits to destinations that are in our own backyard. The spot is welcoming, but the atmosphere is respectful and...More

This is a very nice Vietnam veterans memorial within Green hill Park. Numerous stone monuments are at the edge of a pond with a nice short walking path.

The memorial is located in Green Hill park with its' quiet setting allowing time to reflect on the sacrafices of those who served. A good place to bring your grandchildren to educate them on the war and those who served.

Beautiful, safe and tranquil place. Memorials have small messages from the veterans. God bless every one of them. A must visit!

I have driven by the sign on I-290 for the Memorial many times and finally stopped. It is only a few miles off the highway in Green Hill Park. Once you turn into the park's road, the Memorial is about a mile up. While the...More

Yesterday was our first time in that particular area and we stopped by the memorial upon the recommendation of a friend. It far exceeded my expectations. The pillars with letters written by soldiers killed in the war were sobering and moving. It is a beautiful,...More

Not sure about guides, we had our own. If I remember correctly it was more like an open park, don't remember seeing any gates or anything to indicate open and close
