A really nice private zoo

This zoo is a great stop for the whole family. Big enclosures allow the animals to roam. They have the largest display of reptiles of any private zoo in the country. Lots of... read more

I love taking our grandchildren to the Zoo. We have bought a season past the last 3 years. Nice shady picnic/play area, walking paths to see the animals. Benches are throughout the zoo to rest.

I though this zoo was very nice I liked the layout wasn't all the back tracking like in some of the bigger zoos we've been to the animals looked comfortable seen them feed the monkeys. the parking lot is very small maybe fifty cars so wasn't expecting much but much better than we thought it was going to be. only... At first I wasn't sure about it. I had ask the lady at the front desk of our hotel if she had ever been there and was it worth the money, and she said yes. So we decided to check it out. We enjoyed ourselves. It was nice because you were able to be a little closer to the animals... More

This zoo is a great stop for the whole family. Big enclosures allow the animals to roam. They have the largest display of reptiles of any private zoo in the country. Lots of shade from the summers sun. Never crowded and always clean. Priced very reasonable. For young and old its a must place to spend some quality time with... More

My family came here the day we left Frankenmuth, and had a good time. It is actually much larger than it looked from the road. I read some of the negative reviews before arriving and was prepared not too like it, but my kids wanted to go. It was actually a nice experience, with a wide variety of animals. I... More

We go visit Wilderness Trails Animal Park once a year, its a 4 hour drive and really worth it. they have a wide selection of animals to see and most are up close with many being touchable. you carry a feed bucket around with you and feed whoever you want. easy walking trails. Not as big as a zoo but... More

It's small enough that is doesn't take all day to go through. Often they have petting places. There is a picnic area with a swing set to have lunch and play when your are finished.

I wonder where they able to procure lions, bears and other wild life. Many of the animals looked bored and miserable. The bears were especially hard for me to see. Then once I saw the lions, I almost lost it. Tiny cages. Nothing close to a habitat. It was horrible. I'm fine with the horses, goats, sheep- even the bunnies-... More

The zoo was rather small but they did have a great variety. We did enjoy it very much and I know my granddaughter and the rest of the family also enjoyed it.
