At the end of each summer our family of four drives over for a day at the beach and it never disappoints. :) Climbing up the dune and splashing in the water are the highlights.

My family and I always are on the lookout for new places for a quick weekend trip. This place was far from that, we looked for a spot to grill some food but the bees where everywhere. Also the park rangers always drove by checking...More

This is a place that I have not been to in a couple decades and it looks better than ever. The water is more clear and the dunes have not changed at all, which is great. It was a rainy day when we arrived. Red...More

Decided to come here to Warren Dunes during the week. The parking lot was about 1/4 full but the beach was fairly crowded. I could just imagine how it is on a weekend day. Found the beach to be clean and the entire area well...More

The Warren Dunes State Park is set around the large natural sand dunes off of Lake Michigan. Two different styles of camp grounds are available, and there are plenty of areas to pull off and have a picnic. Limited vending services were offered by temporary...More

We have been coming to Warren dunes for years. It's my favorite place to lay on the beach and get a little dune climbing in. I love that they have bathrooms and food and ample parking. I'm looking forward to seeing the new building when...More

My son has wanted us to take him to Warren Dunes since he visited with a group of boys on retreat a few years ago. We finally made it, and we are glad we did. It is a beautiful park and a very nice beach.

The beach and dunes were perfect for our family - plenty for everyone. The bathroom facilities could use some updating, but they are serviceable. Plenty of parking, and a great value if you have a Michigan license plate Passport. We had a lovely day!

There are pebbles that wash up on shore but this isn't a rock-hunter's paradise. It's a beautiful beach & dunes to climb & sunsets to see. If you want rocks go father north to Petosky or the Apostle Islands.
