This is a huge state park--plenty of RV spots.

We arrived at 8:30 in the evening--so it was late in the day and had the guide assign us a spot. We... read more

We made our reservations for a 6 day camping trip through the state reservation center and did it turn out wrong and we even talked to a live person. We have been there several times in the fall and always loved the park. When we...More

We arrived at 8:30 in the evening--so it was late in the day and had the guide assign us a spot. We were shocked to see such a large park--they had a large flat grassy area with over 200 spots. It was off season so...More

This is a nice campground with reasonably spaced sites. There is electric hookups and a dump station and place to put water in your trailer. Very quiet. Lake Superior is right there with a nice long beach for walking. There are 238 sites, but when...More

This park is on Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Beautiful views on the beach. The restroom & shower house were clean and roomy. The sites are very close together, with no privacy in between. I asked for a good level spot, &...More

My husband and I went there for hiking and we found we were at the wrong place. This park is for camping and boat launching but definitely not for hiking. There is no hiking trail in the park. The beach is small.

This was are starting point for our Lake Superior Circle Tour. We didn't think we were going to like it here because it was so busy but soon found that we did. Super friendly and helpful staff, quite at night, great location on Lake Sperior,...More

At first, I was thinking I wouldn't like this park. It was crazy busy when we got there on Wed., and the weekend stayed busy until Sunday when it quieted down. Lots of sites, almost all full until Sunday but still a lot of people...More

Brimley is right on Lake Superior. There is a tree line buffer to protect you from the wind off the lake. The beach is great. It is sandy and shallow quite for a good distance. Great for the kids to play. A couple of things...More

The restrooms are clean and well maintained. The park is small but we love it. Take binoculars to watch the big barges as this is at entrance to the St Marys river and takes them to the locks in Sault St Marie.
Are there cabins you can rent if you don't have a trailer or tent? Do you have pictures? Is it close to the campground?

There is one small cabin right in the campground. It's a one room cabin with minimal furnishings.
