A Michigan 'must-see' attraction! Housing relics from over two centuries, the Henry Ford is also home to several locomotives - housed inside this massive building, the chair that Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in, the car that Kennedy was riding in when assassinated, and so MUCH more! There is an IMAX tied to the museum, along with a historical village. With... More

We visited the Henry Ford a decade ago and had forgotten how wonderful it was. On a recent trip, we spent several hours wandering through the railroad, automotive, flight and power generation exhibits. Each was very well presented. We would have stayed longer, but we only had one day and wanted to also go to Greenfield Village (right next door.)... More

great place to visit and kids love it. Has plenty of extra festivities in the summers such as old time baseball and civil war enactments.

Great Americana exhibit. Shorter and easier to see than Smithsonian at Washington and more "fun" to see how this country build the economic strength i n the agricultural and industrial fields. Thousands of artifacts wil make you feel like an industrial age archeologist.

We enjoyed our day at the Henry Ford. While we found the admission a bit pricey, we discovered it was good value. Look for D-Pass online for 20% discount. Highlights for our children were seeing the Rosa Parks bus and sitting in her seat, the Presidential limousines and of course Lincoln's rocking chair. Our sons are history buffs and enjoyed... More

If you love history, then The Henry Ford Museum is the place to be! I thought this would just be a transportation museum, but it turned out to be way more than I expected. I got to see the chair that President Lincoln was assassinated in up close for the 150th Anniversary of his assassination. I was awed by this!... More

One of the best museums I have ever seen. A fantastic mix of interesting and different items from A to Z. Something for all ages and interest. Impossible to see and enjoy both this and Greenfield Village on the same day. You need two days, especially if you also want to tour the Ford factory as well.

Don't get me wrong, this musueum is amazing.. so many things to see and do, Ford T's to motorhomes, Presidential cars to Lincoln's chair... The most moving part of the museum was, without a doubt, the Rosa Parks bus. However, I feel the pricing of this musueum is very very misleading and quite naughty - if you buy the museum... More

WOW. Totally remarkable. We had planned to spend a day. After security politely informed us the museum was closing, we bought membership, came back another full day and we planning to return again. Fabulous
