Nice way to get a glimpse into history.. Lots of models here to keep you interested, but nothing noteworthy that will stick with you for a long time..

OUTSTANDING PLACE. I can not recommend this museum any higher. Airplanes, Trains, Vehicles, Furniture, Dinners, ect ect. This museum is huge and has anything you could think of . Top items are President Kennedy's Dallas limo, Abraham Lincolns Ford Theater Chair and Rosa Parks bus plus so much more.

We watch the TV show on Saturday mornings and decided to go this summer on a family trip to Michigan. It was worth the stop and we had a great time. We saw the IMAX movie D-Day. Our son is a history buff and enjoyed it. We got there when it opened and left about 2:00. We had already gone... More

Beautiful museum - love the entryway as you come into the museum. So many interesting displays inside. They have several Presidents' cars, in particular JFK's. Gives you chills looking at it. Loved the camping section! Neat history lesson on camping in America. Lots of awesome cars of course, but also some historic trains, farm equipment, and the Montgomery bus that... More

One of the best museums I've ever been too. We hit it during the Maker Faire (July 25 and 26) - a sort of inventors fair. It increased the price to get into the museum as a result, but it was outstanding. If you are familiar with Odyssey of the Mind, it is like that on steroids. There were schools... More

This is one of the places you overlook because it's in your backyard. You really need to take the time and see what others are traveling miles to come and see. We enjoyed it so much we bought an annual pass.

We've visited several outdoor museums & this one was quite good. Although we were there on a really hot Sunday afternoon, there were several exhibitions going. All the Docents were knowledgeable & friendly. Rode the Model T's! Quite fun & the driver was entertaining & a good driver. All the employees, both paid & volunteer were friendly & professional. Grounds... More

The Henry Ford is by far the greatest treasure for American History outside of Washington DC. I have been a member for years now and I find something new every time. The events are first rate, the special exhibits are always interesting and the food is good too. The staff and volunteers are the best! Visit at Christmas and meet... More
