Special is the seasons treasures when shared with family. Your time together strolling into yesteryear will amaze children, fascinate teens and dazzle dads and moms alike. As each member of your party share the Village's delightful thought provoking gems, you'll want to purchase your 2017 membership as I did. It's the gift that will bring joy to the world of... More

There is so much history to see. You need two days. One for the village and one for the museum. With kids taking all of the technology for granted it's wild seeing them realize how things used to be just a short time ago.

Greenfield Village reproduces some of the buildings from Henry Ford's time, plus it documents some of his friends- Thomas Edison, the Wright brothers, and more. Very interesting and well done.

Wonderful Event but it is impossible to take in all the attractions and performances between 7PM and the fireworks at 10PM. You have to map out your special interests and go from there. For instance Ice Skating (skates free) is a nice touch but very time consuming. Same with standing in line for the Carousel. It will be a wonderful... More

I enjoy villages like this one but can get bored. There was no boredom on this trip. How did one man save so many historical places? The idea that he saved and transported the actual courthouse that Lincoln served as a defense lawyer, the original home and workshop of the Wright brothers, and on and on.... It's an incredible place.... More

We brought our 8-year-old granddaughter here for her birthday. She enjoyed the visit a lot. The weather was slightly cool in November, but this is a time of year with fewer visitors. That enabled us to get one-on-one conversations going with the people who demonstrate their wonderful skills. We were especially enthralled with the glass blowers, but all the speakers... More

Took former neighbor to the Village for the day and had a great surprise, that being a $5.00 admission for all. Found some activities and the train closed, but had a great warm fall day. Did a ride in the Model T Fords' which brought back memories while the driver related facts on the Fords. The Village, Museum, and the... More
