My first trip to Greenfield Village was magical, so much so that we purchased a membership. We have visited several times and it never gets boring. The whole Village is nothing but history with added adventures and fun things to do. The kids really enjoy...More

I would compare Greenfield Village to the Connor Prairie historical center in Fishers, Indiana. The property is designed to be historically representative of a traditional rural 1800s American town. While there ARE tours around the area, our family found them quite dry upon later visits....More

If you like history this is the place , so much to see and do with the family, the events for members are great. It may seem a little pricey but ,I have no problem supporting such a worthwhile venue.

Step back in time to see the actual Ford Farm in operation. See craftsmen making collectables using the individual artesian processes from years past. Learn about plantation life. See Thomas Edison's workshop and laboratory. Watch an 1800's baseball game. See fireworks light the night. During...More

Between his greed, the poor working conditions in his factories, and his brutal early union busting efforts, Henry Ford really wasn’t the nicest guy ever. But he showed a lot of foresight in bringing together this collection of buildings and artifacts to preserve history and...More

What a great spot to stroll around! Each building allows history to come alive! You can see how people lived 200 years ago, whether it was George Washington Carver, Thomas Edison, and the original scions of industry and research got their start. The food everywhere...More

It was a fun day to walk around in history. The Thomas Edison building was the best part of the Village. Thomas Edison (actor) himself came out and gave us a lot of details on how he came up with his ideas. My only complaint...More
