It takes some longer to set up in this arena if you are working, so what is wrong with going slower.? My experiences were pleasant. From Joe Lewis Arena one can walk to many interesting spots. My experience was, “ I never felt unsafe “
We did the little skytram around the sports area and downtown on our last day in Detroit. My grandchildren had never been here but had heard about Detroit from us. We grew up here and moved away 35 years ago. So sad to see the...More
What a glorious arena. Brand new and full of Detroit sports history. The food was superb and well presented. It was easy to maneuver around the arena too. Staff were well placed and helpful. A great experience overall.

Easiest parking is at the ramp, but it is definitely not the cheapest! Are you spending the night if so many of the nicer hotels offer shuttle service. As far as where to eat, that depends on what you like as well as how much you want to spend, Chellie's or Hockeytown are a great fit with a Wings game but Greektown has some great eats and free parking if you eat there! Enjoy the game!
