we went to see the whispers. we set in the mix section which is basically the seating area right in front of the stage. they were live and in color because i saw them great. though i wouldnt have enjoyed one of those side seats, be careful when it says "obstructed view" pay 5 bucks more for better seats for sure. the bar is a great price lots of options and friendly. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THIS PLACE IS TOO PACKED. LESS SEATS SOUND BOARD! LESS SEATS!!!! i was right on the guy next to me we were so close it was ridiculous. the sound was good though. this is a great venue that needs some tweeks. i would go again but make sure to pick the right seats!!!!

Be warned if you sit in the mix which is 7-8 ft below the stage, front row Pat Benetar was amazing but could not see any other band mates without standing up, same seats for Patti Labelle - not good because monitors blocked your view that sit on stage, so depending how the artist set up the stage?? Best seats are section 110 and 150 which are stage level and great views, if you do want the mix I would avoid the first and second row. The venue was great other than the very low mix area.

Unless you have seats in the center balcony, don't bother going to this theater! When they say "obstructed view" they mean "no view" - You can only see what's happening on stage by watching it on the big screens.

The design of the venue was poorly done. If you are not in the middle bottom or middle upper you can not see. Obstructed views pretty much everywhere else and where we sat the big lighting bar obstructed the screen we could have seen the best. Pretty much had to watch the whole show with out necks cranked to watch the screen we could see which was to our side. Would probably not go back to this venue? Jay Leno was great though!

We have attended concerts at this venue before in the past, but it had been a few years. This time we had sat up in the balcony or upper deck versus the main floor. The view was not all that bad, despite we literally had seats in the back row.
The seats in this venue are larger than any other place we have been, and I go to a lot of concerts. I want to say that they are literally 50% larger and can accommodate larger folk. They do not recline however, so they can be tough on your back. The upper deck has monitors as well, to help see the stage act if you prefer to watch that way. I would however sit in the rows facing the stage versus the two side sections.
The staff was friendly, and the venue is easy to find if you are not staying at the hotel. Plenty of parking, which has a red/green light system to help you find open parking spaces. All in all it is a nice venue to see a concert. We have seen comedy, rock, and R&B here.
The one con is the sound system. We have seen shows at many casinos around the state, and for whatever the reason, the sound system is always terrible. Some are worse than others, but it is always a frustration regardless.

All events I have been to at Soundboard have been great. Food is good. On the main floor it is crowded but all other areas are good

This was my second concert at the Sound Board Theater. I would follow the advice with relation to obstructed views. The side areas in this venue can be tricky. You can not go wrong with any other seat ,unobstructed. It is not so large you can not enjoy the view. I enjoy The Fillmore as much as The Sound Board. I am not much into attending the much larger venues. I did take one star away. The wait for a cocktail is kind of painful to say the least!

A group of us went to see the Barenaked Ladies concert. Concert itself was great, but we were disappointed that we had row B side stage on the upper level and our view was completely obstructed by a bar that separated row A and B. The main floor was standing room only. If I go again, I will definitely make sure I buy tickets that are straight on, not side stage. Full bar, but only bagged chips and nuts for purchase.

This is a nice venue for concerts. We were in the first row of the 'pit' in front of the stage. it was pretty cool being right there by the band, but I am on the short side. If I went again, I would probably stand to the side of the 'pit' that is on level with the stage. It's a very nice small venue though. I would definitely go for more concerts!

My tickets say obs in section 210. I have paid a ton of money for these tickets. Am I going to be able to see??!!!

I avoid the obstructed seats, you are unable to see the whole stage though you do have the option of looking at the screens.
