The Detroit revival is in full swing, people mover nice way to see it.

The only reason I am giving this 4, not 5, stars is that the appeal as an "attraction" isn't there. If you are in the area for business it is a lovely area and it really... read more

The only reason I am giving this 4, not 5, stars is that the appeal as an "attraction" isn't there. If you are in the area for business it is a lovely area and it really demonstrates the revival of the city. The restaurants are nice and the area is very clean. I just wouldn't go out of my way... Bricktown is located on the east side of Downtown Detroit. Arrive by People Mover or on foot. Have a drink at the Detroiter Bar, and take their free shuttle if you are heading to Comerica Park, Ford Field or Joe Louis Arena. Also, go to Mix for a vibrant social experience. Visit Good People Popcorn for their "Happy Hour" at... More

Not sure even why this is an attraction and even more concerning at the good reviews. This are is lousy and not in good shape. OK, there might be a decent restaurant or two, but in Greektown there is a lot more to do and you could also head to the Theatre district or up Woodward or to Mexicotown... but... More

The first time I saw this area was long ago when I rode the people mover from Cobo center. Then I decided to give it a check by strolling through the area. It is a nice area with lots of cafes and restaurants. Apparently it gets its name from is brick houses characterising it.

Just outside of Greektown is a very nice area. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the street. Some of Detroit's more upscale area, with a bit of history thrown in to the mix. Great representation of where Detroit is headed

You will enjoy the walk through this neighborhood. There is so much to see of a part of Detroit. The neighborhood displays a lot of history also.
