Overview
More
The Detroit People Mover (DPM) is a fully automated light rail system that operates on an elevated single-track loop in Detroit's central business district. Launched in 1987, the system’s 13 stations provide quick connections between the courts and administrative offices of several levels of government, sports arenas, exhibition centers, major hotels, and commercial, banking and retail districts. Service is frequent and unencumbered by vehicle or pedestrian traffic, and at just 75 cents per ride, it’s the best bargain in town!

Easy on and easy off at convenient locations downtown. Worth riding around the track just to see the beautiful buildings in Detroit.

Really have fallen in love with downtown and the people mover is part of it. Easy to get on and off and for 75 cents is a very inexpensive way to get around.

We took it for a few stops and I would have liked to take it for the whole loop. I think most people use it for games and concerts.

We had our foreign exchange students and needed to experience Detroit. While in Detroit why not try the People Mover. They had fun and we rode around the city with others playing 'tourists'.

Get a quick overview of the Downtown area for 75 Cents. Excellent value for money. I wish I had taken more photographs. I thought it was fun, don't miss it.
