What can I say its a tunnel. its quick, fast and cheap . The tile walls are the feature here and although its a little narrow a simple ride through. Catch the entrance on Jefferson Ave just north of Cobo Hall. the ride takes you right to the downtown center Windsor Ont. where you can get some great views of the... More

We paid $9.00 Canadian for a return trip from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit, Michigan to attend a Detroit Lions football game. The special event bus leaves 2 1/2 before the event but there are regular buses to Detroit that let you off a few blocks from all of the major leagues sports venues. Excellent experience!

I took bus from Rose Park Transit to Windsor Transit and return several times. They were cheaper than taxi. They have nice bus and driver there. I didn't have problem with it. It will be nice if they stop at Via Rail station at Windsor.

This tunnel connects Detroit and Windsor at the center of these great cities. An engineering masterpiece, fresh air circulates continuously to ensure the exhaust fumes from vehicles aren't an issue, even on those times when the tunnel traffic is at a standstill (not often). Both U.S. and Canadian currencies are accepted on both sides. It's a short drive, your radio... More

Always a quick drive to Windsor from Detroit. I'd rather fly into Detroit and drive into Windsor than flying into windsor

The tunnel connects two great countries and gets you from one to the other in minutes. We take the tunnel bus all the time to take in games concerts and dinners with an easy quick ride. It is always kinda cool to see the flags when you cross the international boarder. Kinda freaks you out when your stuck in traffic... More

If you are traveling to Windsor from Detroit, the Ambassador Bridge is definitely the way to go, since you get gorgeous views of both Detroit and Windsor. If you commute regularly between the two cities, then take the tunnel, which is less backed up and doesn't have people gazing out the window, looking at the views! Oh, and if you... More

We used Windsor City Transit to cross over for the day to explore Detroit and have lunch. Really easy to use and the price is right. The tunnel is old and a bit unsettling but it works fine. Customs clearance on both sides is really easy.

Drove to Windsor from Detroit via the Tunnel and returned the same day via the Bridge. The Tunnel is 25 cents cheaper. The Tunnel was backed up almost as soon as we entered it. It moved very slowly. And a car broke down; cars were passing it on the wrong side of the road which was very dangerous. A truck... More
