Pretty much what the title says. It's easy to get past and beautiful. Glossy tiles on the walls and roof, lighting is great and even gives you a nice feeling.

Perfectly located for getting into the heart of downtown Detroit. Efficient and luckily kind staff. The only issue is the fee to cross is not cheap $5 US

Why is this on here? The tunnel just gets you from Point A to B. Nothing special what so ever. And border crossing sucks, no one likes it.

I have always felt safe traveling from Detroit to Canada via the tunnel. Even though I usually don't like closed-in places, you usually move quickly through the tunnel and it's well-lit, so you really don't notice being enclosed too much.

Just pay $5 and cross to Canada and back. Nothing to see like the bridge but quicker. if you want the duty free shop cross on bridge. Take passport and be prepared to answer a lot of questions by border agent.

We spent the night in Windsor and took the Tunnel bus over to Detroit. It was a virtually painless experience. Stop at boarder crossing to get through customs and into Detroit. I would do again

Usually prefer to take the tunnel over the bridge, but for major events, the wait times in the tunnel can be long.
