We were sure this museum had some state funding or something for the quality and interactivity of the exhibits, but they said no, it was run by the local historical society. Even my teens enjoyed for a long while. Thank you for a lovely visit!...More

Loved this maritime museum. I never realized there was such a great passenger service in this area at one time. Bob a volunteer was very informative and made the visit awesome. This museum is free and is a must if you're in the area.

I was surprised to see the amount of hands on activities in this building. Well Done! Walk up the stairs and you are on the bridge of a ship, looking out at the water, with all of the controls and maps at your hands.

Glad we stopped here, there was so many interactive activities for the kids to enjoy and learn. So many interesting facts about Belle Island. There was a volunteer that explained things. Cool to look out the periscope.
