I recommend this short and easy walk through the woods. Anyone can do it as long as able to stand on two feet.

Beautiful view ofLake Michigan And the islands. Short hike up a fairly steep hill. Some ice on the trail in March at 36 degrees. Worth the hike.

This is a short hike with a slight uphill climb on a groomed trail through the woods. Once at the top you’ll be overlooking Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. The sign says it’ll take 2 hours to get back to the top if you...More

This trail is okay. Not my favorite. Parking is limited. Seems like the same views as other hikes. I would not do this hike again.

There is a short but steep 1 mile hike to the overlook. Worth the hike! We packed a sandwich and enjoyed to views with our lunch. Make sure to follow maps and street names - the trailhead is easy to miss

The hike to the top was moderately easy and had absolutely gorgeous views. There are two hike options at this location, and we chose the shorter of the two.

I had the opportunity to hike the Pyramid Point Trail recently. I enjoyed the experience very much. Bring comfortable walking shoes to hike the 2.6 mile trail and don't forget your camera for the great view of Lake Michigan at the top.

My husband and I just returned from SBD National Park and this is one of three great hikes we enjoyed with our 9 & 11 year old kids. It starts with a steady, but manageable, uphill trek to an astonishing view of Lake Michigan from...More

This was one of the few hikes that we did and we were glad we chose this one-absolutely stunning overlook over Lake Michigan at the top. We did the short trail to the overlook and back only. My seven-year-old loved building a sandcastle while we...More

Not sure about dogs, but would assume, if they are on a leash would be OK. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be.

No vehicles are allowed. For those who cannot hike, there are some beautiful overlooks on the Pierce Stocking Drive, which is near the town of Glen Arbor.
