What do you do with small children that's cheap, easy and fun? Take them to Provin Trails! This is a nature preserve tucked away in the northeast corner of GR. We'd been there before, but this time we downloaded a free app for our smart phones and away we went. My eight year old grandson had a blast finding the... More

I enjoyed my hike through this little park. Lots of school aged kids on educational field trips when I was there. Gentle hills and well marked trails. You never really feel "deep" into the forest, but still very relaxing.

Hilly and challenging gem on the NE side of Grand Rapids. A great place to hike, contemplate, or walk the dog

This is a beautiful and close place to hike, cross country ski, or snowshoe. Many people go there to sled also. The only Negative to this area is that Some People do not think They have to follow the rules/laws and have Their Dog on a leash!

Favorite place to hike in Grand Rapids, it's quiet and peaceful. Took wedding pictures there too, turned out beautiful.

nice park but small - good for a walk or connector to run Robinette's trails - right across the street. Max loop about 3 miles, slightly hilly, cool dune in the center of it

Provin Trail is a perfect place to take a short nature walk. At just .9 miles around, the distance is short enough for quick exercise or peaceful reflection. A bonus is that it is connected to Robinette's Apple Orchard. What better way to reward yourself for working out than with a donut or ice cream cone! My only complaint is... More

Took my wife and grandsons and we all had a great time. the kids particularly had fun climbing trees and running up and down the hills. Not big, but, considering the location, large enough.

I love to walk these trails, while not huge, there are hilly and rugged. I especially enjoy the noise of traffic while walking, such a contrast to the nature surrounding. It's a great little park for a wonderful hike or walk.
