The Grand Rapids Public Museum is a place of never-ending inspiration and discovery, with a focus on science, history and culture. We have three floors of core and traveling exhibitions, the Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium, a 1928 Spillman Carousel and a Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.

This museum has plenty to see, and is quite affordable. Adults and children both can find lots of things of interest. I do suggest utilizing the elevators as the stairs are very tall.

Had a great time touring the museum. Caught the last day of the Creatures of Light exhibit. There is a big room of puzzles called Mindbenders Mansion. If you like brainteasers/escape rooms, it is really fun. Tons of games and puzzles.

Has lois of nice exhibits some of which change frequently. We missed the luminescent animals by one day. Very kid friendly with plenty of things for them to get involved with.

We were in town looking for something to do for a few hours. My wife, 10 year son and I really enjoyed all the displays and interesting items located inside. The museum sits next to the river with nice views of downtown.

Entertaining exibits and activities for children of all ages. Ranging from animals to the history of Grand Rapids. It works great with large groups, and is clean and well kept. The whale skeleton near the entrance is mind blowing.
