Our group had a delightful time on the Hart-Montague Trail. It has been repaved and widened since the last time I road it. Lots of areas to stop for a picnic along the trail. There are several sections in which the tree canopy provides shelter...More

We started at Hart (the Hart Motel - great motel!) and rode to Country Dairy and back. Loved the farms along the way and passing through small towns. Perfect fall ride, and someday we plan to do the entire Hart to Montague and back ride.

This is a well maintained trail running from Hart to Montague while winding through Mears, Shelby and New Era. The outlook in some parts rivals Northern France. Plenty of places to stop , rest or picnic. Cut along a railroad line, it is almost perfectly...More

This trail goes through orchards, asparagus fields, woods, and neighborhoods. We rode from Hart to about halfway to New Era. It was so quiet and pretty. I don't know that I'd ride it alone just because of the remoteness of some locations. But I'd love...More

We rode on a Saturday and really didn't see many other bikers. The weather was good even though it had rained that morning leaving some of the shade areas still wet with debris. We had a hard time finding where to park in New Era...More

We cycled from Mears to New Era and back. The trail is so beautiful and we had it to ourselves for most of the trip. It is a very easy ride and there are many places to rest. I would love to come back when...More

The trail renovation has been completed, and it's all good. Repaving and widening make this trail a premier bike, walk or jog trail. Hoping the snowmobiling does not tear up the surface. New benches signage and stretch stations have also been installed. There are a...More
