Took a guided tour, albeit with a young kids school tour group, though that had its own charm. The place is magnificent and gives a great feel of the more recent history.

Beautiful rotundum especially for those who see them for the first time. Went on a gloomy day so the outside might not be so attractive. Anyway the restoration has been successful enough, and the staff inside were helpful.

Took a guided tour on a Sunday afternoon and it was well worth it. The capital building has beautiful interiors and the tour is informative and lasted about an hour.

A trip to the capital is worth the time. The original architecture, and maintenance thereof is extraordinary.

Like Robert N, depends on when you're visiting the Capital. We visited on a Saturday and parked for free on street that was walking distance.

Scalp before you go. The tours are free and they do have a schedule. The tour guides are very knowledgable.
