I'm on a quest to visit all the state capitals with my partner and this was number 4 for us. Gorgeous Capitol Buildings with lovely gardens and a very peaceful and laid back city centre. Plenty of options for lunch.

Our group received a private tour as we were with MLTA. the tour was great! I was worried it would be boring but it kept moving quickly and was full of fun facts and interesting stories. The photo opportunities were great as well!

Every MIchigan resident should see the Capitol. It is your house too! Amazing structure, well kept, no hoops to jump through.

perhaps i'm biased. at night, it can see the lit dome from my house. but for 30+ years i was a lobbyist (for the good guys) and got to walk in here frequently. every michigan resident should put it on their bucket list. a wonderful restoration of a classic 1870s building. appreciate that the steel columns were painted to look... I work downtown in Lansing, and I have visited the Capitol building- it is beautiful, especially the rotunda, and the stairways leading to the upper levels. It has been restored to keep the beauty from many years gone by. You will not be disappointed- go visit!

Always a good place to visit just to see the great architecture but also the history and government in action. A learning experience.

We toured the capitol building on a quiet Friday afternoon. All the legislators were on break and most everyone was gone. The building is very nice and well appointed. The tour was good and our tour guide was very well informed.

My name is Jake and I just went to the Capitol today! I went with my teacher Miss Buscemi and our 4th grade class for a field trip. Our tour guide's name was Jim. We Started at the Capitol building and Jim took us into the House of Reps and the Senate rooms, and keep in mind that this was... More
