Our family (3 young kids) took the Badger from Manitowoc to Ludington. Overall it was great! The kids got restless a few hours in, so next time we will definitely get a cabin! It also would have been great to have been given a schedule...More

We traveled on the SS Badger twice. We had a great time. From the bingo to the movies to the food service and the bar there is something for everyone. I highly recommend this trip.

The boat was nothing luxurious, but it got us to where we needed to go. A tad pricey, but a great way to get the motorcycles across the water!

We choose this ride as we thought it will be enjoyable trip. It was more like a bus drive. So if you like traveling on buses you may enjoy it as they have some games( bingo) and a show ( two singers). Other than that:...More

There is nothing like a short cruise across a giant lake. First of all you are riding on, probably, one of the last coal fired ships in the nation. There is something quite special about being on board a floating and operational piece of history....More

We have been taking the ferry across Lake Michigan between Manitowoc/Milwaukee/Kewaunee WI. and Ludington, MI. since 1976 and it is worth the money. We have a choice of driving through Chicago or the UP, MI and this route via S.S. Badger is a great experience....More

You will be entertained, have choice of food, or just rest and relax. Whatever you decide to do for your 4 hour crossing you will enjoy.

Didn't want to drive through Chicago and wanted to get some work done. Although the trip may have been longer overall, less stress behind the wheel...

We are very busy in July. If you are taking a car on your trip you definitely should have a reservation.

We arrived at 7:45 am and were the first ones in line. They don't let passengers board until 8. The entire boarding procedure went quickly without glitches
