This is a very fun Haunted House. It's all about laughing and screaming. If you don't know how to laugh and scream and have fun, you will not like this attraction...... Don't waste your time or money. It is definitely very "old school". The idea for the Haunted House was based on Indian Legends from the past. Artist friend Dale Kuipers hand crafted and artistically created the finer displays. Everything was made from scratch........all the art work.....all the mechanics.....everything.. I realize that there are several displays that should be totally pitched, but I have a hard time convincing the owner to do that. He is very very "old school" I know it needs to be updated. Back in the 1890's this location housed a Rollar Rink, which is hard to imagine. Then it was a family theatre........then a movie theatre.........then in the early 1970's Frank Nephew and Robert Benser purchased the building. In 1974 they leased the building to Welden Blum and Joe Feuquay. Welden Blum is still today the owner of The Haunted Theatre. Dale Kuipers was the artistic talent........Welden was the Engineer..........Joe was the Businessman. Others involved with their creative talents were Rick Beeman and Sheldon Bennet. This location, many many moons ago must have been part of Indian History, perhaps even a burial ground.

The name is a little corny, and sort of reminded me of the Hollywood Wax Museum by its title, but what instantly struck me when viewing the interior was that this location was actually used for the theater scene in the film "Somewhere in Time,"...More

I wasn't sure what I was walking in to... it was a classic haunted house! Dark winding hallways with people shaking chains and knocking on the walls, and weird diorama-style horror scenes that light up behind windows as you pass by them. Kitschy fun. Seems...More

I have to say I did not actually go in. My teenage son and his 3 teen friends went in, and they could not stop talking about how great this was. They had a blast. Some of them said it was the best thing they...More

This attraction is a walk through type of exhibit, is not very well done and pretty dumb .... don't waste your money.

Only about 10 minutes long with scary creatures throughout. Be warned-very dark-I couldn't see where I was supposed to go-that was scary!

As a young child, I remember being scared to death of the Haunted Theatre! Now, as an adult, I am continuing this family tradition by taking my own children in for a scare and laugh. While mostly cheesy, this landmark as served millions from around...More

The owner was very informative about what to expect inside. My 9 year old daughter was afraid to go in, and he said we could try it and if we made it through to pay him at the end. There were no other customers around...More

It is just one of those things you have to do while you are on the island. Take it for what it is and enjoy it.

This was a fun activity to my 9 year old boy. We had a small group that went thru the Haunted Theater. I went first and I think it was scariest for me. It was too scary for my 7 year old daughter.
