Although the weather was rainy & cold, the view of the passing freighters was worth it. Sites are level, clean restrooms. Hiking & biking trails.

This is a very nice, well-maintained campground with spacious sites and clean restrooms. There is a nice view of the river where you can watch the freighters go by. We enjoyed our stay.

This is one of the many parks along the St. Clair river where it is narrow enough to really see the passing freighters. We don't camp, but we have a park sticker & there is a large picnic area to enjoy, with rest rooms available....More

We camp in a travel trailer 3-4 times a year during the summer. Algonac state park is my favorite local camping destination. It is peaceful and quiet, nothing like the loud Koa's. If you are looking to relax, enjoy the boats, and do some fishing....More

There are a couple grocery stores within a 15 minute drive. Kroger on M-29 in Algonac and VG's in Marine City, just off M-29.
