While it is wonderful that Midland has this community garden, if flowers are not in bloom, it just is not worth a stop. We stopped by after reading Trip Advisor reviews, but with no flowers in bloom, there was nothing to see.

Midland, MI. has many very incredible places to visit. Dahlia Hill is just one. The Tridge over the Chippewa river is also worth the visit.

Best viewing is mid-summer through the end of September. The variety of Dahlias is astonishing! Very well cared for.

A quick stop lead to a lingering walk through the most beautiful flowers. As I climed the gentle slope among the terraces of thounds of dahlias I realized how devoted volunteers have given their lives to this wonder, and then their ashes afterwards. There are...More

Always a good drive-by and good stop. Great photo-op. They give flowers to the sick. Tuber sale in spring. Lots of hard work by these dedicated people.

Before visiting this historic hill we never really appreciated the amazing glory of dahlias. If you have any interest in beautiful flowers you should put this on your list. And if you have any connection to Midland you may recognize some memorial names.

When Dahlia Hill is in full bloom, it is quite a spectacular sight. Dahlia flowers are so unique and intricate, and they have many varieties for your viewing pleasure. Great for some fun macro photography too!

Perhaps the most beautiful place in Midland to visit in the late Summer month into early Fall. The volunteers works so hard and it is worth a visit. I go the last weekends of May for their tuber sale.
