It is half an hour walk to arrive to the fall and the path is quite muddy if it has rained, so I found it not very worth it.

It's a pleasant 30 minute hike each way to Mariudo Falls from the dock at the end of river ride outbound. Very gradual uphill path, some stone, some dirt. Not at all difficult. Nice views of the falls, with a few benches for sitting, but it didn't seem you could get terribly close to them. In any event, we didn't... More

We arrived in time for the first boat of the day @ 0900. There were only 8 other people on the boat including the captain. We relaxed on the boat and soaked up the sights and sounds of the mangroves for 8 km upriver, with the captain pointing out various highlights along the way. After a beautiful boat ride, we... More

The river cruise/kayak/hike company was really friendly. The guide kept us informed of the key points on the river. The hike is easy and not too busy, but we were on the 0930 first trip. There was no need to book but we recommend you carry at least a litre of water per person.

we walked nearly one hour to get to the water fall from the boat jetty, hoping that there will be cold fresh water to swim, but contrary, the water was very warm and was not fresh.... not suitable for swimming....

You catch a motor boat up to river and then walk about 45 minutes up to the falls. If you walk just past the end of the track you will find a way to get down onto the rock platform to go in for a swim. Noone else went down there but we did and went in and it was... More

First: Don't do this in a weekend! It will be very busy with tourists. Boats will be full, and the track towards the waterfall and the waterfall itself crowded with people. If you do it during the week you there will be people for sure but one can have a great morning or afternoon. It's starts with a guided boat... More

It's a short jungle hike after a boat ride up the Urauchi river. The path is easy and well marked but hiking shoes are recommended as it can be muddy. The waterfall is not very big or extraordinary, but the overall trip is a nice experience.
