It is located in Bhakta Pur City, Near to darbar Square. This monument has also been lost during earthquake. it is said that Taleju temple main gate is made by gold.

This is the oldest Taleju Devi Temple of the three different temples at each Durbar Square. It is also the one most heavily guarded by armed security personnel. The doorway has beautiful art work, and the royal bathing pond at the side is also worth seeing. But there's not a whole lot to see, as a lot of it is... More

The entrance of this temple and some of the parts are very interesting but unfortunately the most beautiful part of it is forbidden for non Hindus so it is impossible to appreciate the real importance and beauty of the site. If you are in Durbar square it is worth the visit, otherwise don't bother

The Taleju temple was built in the 14th century and is the oldest part of Bhaktapur's Royal Palace. Although non-hindus are not allowed inside everyone else can look though the guarded doorway. The main shrine is to the left while to the rights old fresco paintings. Interestingly the stone guardian statues are Tibetan looking and may have been brought here... More

There are 3 Taleju goddess temple in kathmandu valley, at Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and kathmandu. Taleju temple was build for worshpping the power at time of Malla dynasty from 12th to16th century AD.
