Take the metro out from central Seoul and then a short walk/taxi ride to the fortress entrance and walk around the palace and grounds
This is not a bad place, but if you are limited on time in Seoul, you can skip it. We spent about 1 hr there.
it was very special experience. Hwaseong tour with native Korean we went his home, ate samgyeobsal. I experienced native korean culture:)
