This sight is beautiful. I only wish there wasn't so much garbage everywhere. At least in the summer, the trees cover most of that up for great picture taking for tourists.

This is so beautiful, a must see from the water!! The water is Caribbean blue, with beautiful coloring in the cliffs along the shore.

We skied the snowmobile trail into Miners Castle last week and didn't see one snowmobile. This is a special place in the middle of winter

A group of us, all photographers went here for a weekend trip over New Years. It was just breath taking. I have been here twice, once in summer and now once in winter. Both are great in there own way! Make sure you dress warm and wear boots! Lots of snow in the winter!

Just a few hundred steps from the car and you're overlooking an amazing sight. Can visit two different outlook points but only one is wheelchair accessible during the summer, and none in the winter.

So you've taken the Pictured Rocks Cruise...nothing can top that, right? Wrong! Hop in the car and drive to the Miners Castle site along the National Lakeshore and prepare to be gob-smacked! It's an easy drive from Munising along paved roads and the site itself is easily accessible, with ample parking and a visitor's center that offers a small selection... More
