A quick trip to a beautiful waterfall right in town. Has a nice path in, but there is a bit of a hill. It's so gorgeous, it would be worth a hike, though. Well-maintained and obviously the city has invested in caring for their natural...More

I love going to Munising falls because it's an easy walk on paved surface. It's absolutely beautiful and serene. There's a bench to sit on and it's absolutely cathartic to just take in the sound of the water and admire the lush green. Since there's...More

If you are in Munising and don't know what to do, this is about 5-10 minutes outside the city. A short 5 minute walk up to the falls and Bam... Beautiful waterfall Recommended

Not so far to walk back from The parking lot. Plenty of parking for everyone. Nice clean bathrooms and Information center. The walk back isn't very far to do. The view is beautiful, but then I love waterfalls. Allow at least 45 minutes to an...More

We enjoyed the short walk to the falls, it's nice and shady. The falls are beautiful, even in Sept. when you'd expect the water flow to be lower. There's a ranger station and gift shop and restrooms at the trailhead.

These are not Nieagra Falls. These are mostly small and easy to see some require a short walk. Best bet is to get a Munising visitors guild and there is a section for all the falls, there are many. There is a visitors Center on...More

Stop into the Explore Munising travel center next to Hardee's restaurant. They have all the info you will need about where you can go with your pets and where you can't. The staff there are very friendly.
