We were on the island of Viz with a yacht, we decided to see the natural park from the water and go to the beaches and grottoes (everyone goes there in a crowd). A scam of tourists, Bender is resting, the cave is like a cave, just 30 meters deep, not illuminated in any way, the rocks are gray-brown. Entrance in September 8€ per person. You can swim inside. We boarded a boat from the yacht. 10 minutes there. What ? , this is all ? our reaction . Spend your time and money on something else. I don't recommend it. Especially after the free white beautiful grottoes that we saw in Greece. They just declared one side of the island a natural park out of the blue and sell it to tourists as a tourist attraction (((sad

We went there in our charter yacht early one morning. We snorkelled from our yacht into the cave and our adult children enjoyed diving down as the visibility is amazing. There were schools of colourful small fish. We had the cave to ourselves for a while - it was incredibly peaceful and wondrous. Other people started to arrive so we swam back to our yacht and left.

Green caves are beautiful , but a little expensive to reach for a five minute boat ride, as someone else once said woth seeing but not worth going to sea.

That was the biggest joke ever. Neither is the cave green nor the hole in ceiling natural origing. I would say the hole is manmade in order to sell it. Sure when the sun light is going through it has a nice effect but that's all and it is a tiny whole. A green cave should be covered full in green light and not just a tiny circel. Actually, it is more green outside the cave then inside. Hence, do not waste your time or money as there are nicer places to see.

Not as impressive as the Blue Cave the Green Cave is accessible by swimming.
Entrance a bit expensive for what it is though but it was paet of our boat tour so it was fine

Not sure I was overly impressed. A decent sized cave on an island off rukavac. We kayaked out at the end of the day so had the place to ourselves. Wouldn't pay to visit when busier, as I'm sure it gets crowded. These places are a bit of a bun fight at peak hours.

Charged 70 kuna per person. Surly cave guards row you in on a boat. One guard threatened a swimmer with his oar just because he was swimming in the small shaft of sunlight. This is Croatian tourism at its worst.

We were advised that this green cave would be much better than the famous blue cave, being apparently much smaller and less touristy, and also free to enter.
We arrived on our boat and rowed up to the cave in our dinghy hoping to row in and around the caves for 5 minutes.
We were greeted by a very aggressive and unfriendly 'port authority' boat who demanded 50 kuna per person to enter the cave. We didn't have any money with us as we'd be advised it was free so we turned around. Therefore I'm afraid cannot comment of the cave itself - I'm sure it is lovely but not worth paying £7 per person!
We are generally disappointed that it appears that Croatia is taking advantage of all its spots of natural beauty to make money out of tourists. If Croatia does this too much visitors will be put off and stop coming.

The green cave is a cave with a dot of green light that is formed by a small round hole in the roof through which the sun shines. The green dot is the size of a dustbin lid. Don't get me wrong: the cave is nice but there are speed boats and crowds a plenty to see this. I'm sure it gets crazily crowded. It also costs 50k to get in.
The marketing people have done a bloody good job of selling this as an amazing wonder. It isn't and the crowds are off putting. We went in by kayak and dodged the waves produced by all the visitor boats....

If you've already seen the Blue Cave skip the Green Cave. It smells like gas diesel fumes and isn't that impressive.
